About Us

Treating Bed Bugs in Your Home

Thermal Clean offers the best in residential bed bug extermination services. There is no job too big or too small for us. Whether you are in a home or apartment or even a built out school bus, we can help.

Our Process

After an initial inspection to determine if and where there is a bed bug infestation in your home and a completion of the Preparation List we provide, we will bring enough portable radiant heaters to your home to raise the temperature of the entire dwelling to a temperature between 135-140 degrees. Then we will monitor and hold that temperature for a period of time that is lethal to both the bed bugs and the eggs. After the completion of the heat treatment, we will spray a light pesticide to ensure the bugs are gone for good. All services come with an industry leading warranty.

We service Denver, Boulder, Broomfield, Arvada, Fort Collins, Aurora and all of the Colorado Front Range.

No Job Too Big.

No Job Too Small.

Bed Bugs are hitch hikers and can invade essentially any space where any person has previously visited. They have been found in hotels, schools, movie theaters, homes, buses, and many more places. Bed Bugs will hitch hike from these areas and take the ride right to your home. The good news is that when you use thermal heat, there is nowhere for these bugs to hide. Our signature process kills bugs and eggs in every part of the home in one day.

Don’t need the whole house done? If you are picking up a couch you are worried has bed bugs, we can help. If you found bugs at a hotel and are worried about your luggage, we can help. Whether you are wanting to treat your home, moving vans, paperwork, books, furniture items, cars or anything else, give us a call today and we can set up a plan that is right for you.

Why Thermal Heat?

Disadvantages of Other Methods

There are a few ways to eliminate bed bugs infestations. We know first hand because we have literally tried them all. Freezing, steamers, chemical, even cedar foggers were being used (ineffectively) for a while. But in our experience thermal heat remediation combined with pesticide application is the best at completely eliminating bed bug infestations in homes and apartments. Other treatment can be effective at times, but what we know is that our method works every time.

Still confused on what these bugs are and how they survive. Visit our Bed Bug Facts page for more information.

Steam Heat

Steam heat will kill both eggs and bugs on contact, but it cannot penetrate walls, carpet or deep crevices. Plus, since the steam has to hit the bugs to kill them, it is impossible to treat every inch of the home, and these bugs can hide anywhere. This method has particular problems with infestations in multiple rooms or heavy infestations.

Pesticide Only

Pesticides do not kill the eggs, and the residual effect is often not enough to kill surviving bugs. Most times 2-4 treatments are needed with two weeks between each service, meaning you will be dealing with the problem for about a month before it is solved. Plus, harmful chemical are being sprayed on and around where you sleep.

DIY Bed Bug Treatments

Our truest and best advice is please do not try doing it yourself. Over the counter sprays don’t work. Small portable steamers don’t work. DIY solutions often make the problem much worse and only increase time, money and hassle in the long run.
